Maintenance Engineer £32,000 - £34,000 Oldbury Full Time – Permanent

We are looking for a maintenance engineer to join our client's team, in Oldbury who are a house-hold name and an industry leader. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range of £32,000 - £34,000. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. To be successful in this role, the preferred skills are:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and electronics quickly.
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude and the skill to disassemble and reassemble complex devices as well as good general maintenance knowledge.
  • Knowledge of electronics, machinery control systems and PLC fault finding.
  • Industrial Sewing machine repair and service.
  • 1ph & 3ph Motor knowledge, conveyorization systems, belts etc.
  • Welding, soldering and fabrication skills.
  • Good understanding of bearings, motion systems and their maintenance.
  • 17th / 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
