Pay: £44500 Plus bonus

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Sunday to Wednesday 10pm – 6am and Thursday 10pm – 5am

The client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. Overview of Maintenance Engineer Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings, and building systems. This includes:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment.
- Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance work performed.
Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with logic controllers and other automation systems.
- Welding experience is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Pay: £44500 Plus bonus
