Sales Account Administrator

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Administrator to join our clients long-established manufacturing business specialising in producing stainless and carbon steel tubes. The ideal candidate will serve as a point of contact for customers with enquiries, orders, and delivery requests and will play a key role in providing clients with high quality customer service and contributing to supporting the organisation.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process orders via email or phone.
  • Formulate quotations and follow up in an adequate time frame.
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices.
  • Book in deliveries with clients and manage delivery schedules.
  • Contact clients to obtain information or answer queries.
  • Liaise with various departments to maintain effective communications throughout the business.
  • Complete stock transfers.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records.
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
  • Visit clients with the BDM to establish and develop relationships.

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

· Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and English.

· Experience in the steel industry - tube is desirable but not essential.

· Experience with the use of SAP system advantageous.

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

· Methodical approach.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong relationship building skills.

· Must be computer literate.

· Good level of interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.

· Ability to make decisions.

· Ability to use initiative.

· Problem solving capability.

· Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

· High level of honesty and integrity.
