Paying £23,500 + Benefits + Parking - Based in Oldham, North Manchester our client is a successful engineering business that are looking for an experienced Administrator to join their expanding major projects team.

This is an office-based role, working 8am to 4.30pm Monday – Friday, but the successful candidate will need to be flexible and able to cover shifts including 8.30pm to 5.00pm or 9am to 5.30pm when required to cover absence.

THE JOB

Reporting to the Project Manager, as Project Administrator you will be responsible for managing the back-office administration function for the major projects team.

As Project Administrator your duties will include:

  • Logging tender information onto the CRM system
  • Creating new projects on the CRM system
  • Ensuring Engineer timesheet information is received in a timely manner
  • Entering and posting Engineer timesheets daily
  • Creating purchase orders in accordance with instructions and organising deliveries
  • Approving small purchase invoices
  • Assisting the Project Coordinator with a variety of tasks
  • Providing administration support to the Project Sales team
  • Providing administration support to the field team
  • Managing Engineer’s holiday request forms
  • Ensuring any project related issues are highlighted and resolved to completion

  • Strong IT skills including all the MS Office package
