We are currently partnering with a Greater Manchester based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Contract Officer to join their growing team on a initially a two - four month contract, with the potential to become permanent at the end.
Our client is one of the biggest Housing Associations in the area, and offer hybrid working as well as in house training opportunities.
The hourly rate for this role is £25.77 per hour paid via an Umbrella company, and is due to start in February. They will be sensitive to applicant’s notice period.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Working in a Heating and Gas Maintenance team, supporting contract managers with a defined list of contracts, ensuring they provide value for money and customer safety
- Analysing data relating to contracts to understand where improvements can be made
- Gathering information from different departments and customers to diagnose problems
- Utilising MS Excel for analyse and present data, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and Macros
- Ensuring contracts are providing excellent value for money, and communicating where this is not the case
Experience, knowledge and expertise required:
- Ability to use Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs in MS Excel
- An understanding of Social Housing and associated regulations
- Experience of property compliance
