Due to continued expansion across the business, our client, a market leading FMCG manufacturer is seeking to enhance its Maintenance Engineering team with the appointment of an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer.

This role offers the opportunity to work for a true market leader and established global brand. With progressive training and development this role allows potential promotion in the longer term. Role Description

  • Providing both Reactive & PPM on all Fast-Paced production equipment
  • Working within a team of Maintenance Engineers to complete tasks on various types of machinery.
  • Improve process efficiencies through elimination of downtime with the use of the PPM system and C.I.P. process
  • To assist the maintenance manager with projects and developments.
  • Maintenance on a variety of machinery within their fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Fault Finding both Mechanically and Electrically
  • Reporting to the Engineering Lead

Skills and Qualifications

  • Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience
  • Engineering Qualifications - HNC / NVQ / C&G
  • A recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and other relevant qualifications with at least 3years experience within a similar role are essential.
  • A working knowledge of A.C and D.C. drives would be preferred as would the ability to work on P.L.C systems.
  • Experience of performing Maintenance Engineering within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment
