Our client, an industry leading manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Events Executive to join their growing team at their Oldham site. With an international reputation for innovation and quality, they are looking for someone to elevate their brand presence and drive growth through marketing initiatives and world class events.

As a Marketing & Events Executive, you will take ownership of delivering events and exhibitions, managing all aspects of event logistics from start to finish, including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, and budgets. You will also be responsible for supporting the creation of written content for sales literature and product information sheets, ensuring consistency in tone of voice in collaboration with the further marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Events:

  • Assist with the planning and organisation of company events and exhibitions.
  • Manage and coordinate event logistics, including product samples, stand layout, timelines, venues, suppliers, legal requirements, staffing, and budgets.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to inform future improvements and explore new event opportunities.

Content:

  • Support the development of written content for sales materials and product information sheets.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Technical, and Production teams to create technically accurate and engaging content.
  • Work closely with the Technical Content Writer to ensure the content aligns with brand tone and messaging.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, particularly copywriting and event management.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, calm under pressure, and able to take ownership of tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities, able to prioritise workload independently.
  • Diligent and thorough, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
