Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Analyst will include:
- Analyse results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
- Identify financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and budgets
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- Proven experience in a similar financial analyst role ideally an FP&A background
- Active studier working towards CIMA/ ACCA
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting software
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good business acumen
