The successful Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer shall be responsible for internal sales, technical advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, proposals and other aspects of customer service for pumps & associated mechanical engineering products.
The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will ideally come from a sales or technical engineering background associated with engineering, Full training is being provided, however having previously sold an engineering product such as pumps, valves, compressed air, motors, gearboxes, rotating equipment, generators, MRO, seals, bearings, power transmission, industrial machinery, HVAC or similar are advantageous.
Package
£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer Role
- Give technical advice and guidance on correct pump related product selection as per customers needs.
- Generate & provide quotations & proposals of pumps & associated mechanical engineering products to customers.
- Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc.
- Learn all aspects of administration which includes order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations of pumps.
- Product specification plus after sales and service support.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Commutable to the office daily near Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer Requirements
- Previously sold an engineering product such as pumps, valves, compressed air, motors, gearboxes, rotating equipment, generators, MRO, seals, bearings, power transmission, industrial machinery, HVAC or similar.
- Pump Service Engineer looking to come off the tools and move into a technical sales role are encouraged to apply.
- Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Advisor or similar customer service position, within the mechanical engineering industry.
- Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment
- Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable pumps company.
- Must be commutable to Oldham daily or willing to re locate.
