R&D Chemist -HPLC Location: Oldham Type: Permanent Salary: c£26,000 - £30,000 depending on experienceOur Client, a Chemical manufacturer based in north Manchester (and part of a global group) - is looking for an experienced HPLC Chemist to work at their GMP site. The Role:• Conduct R&D projects on current products manufactured on-site as well as development of new products, to agreed schedules, ensuring full compliance with company standards.• Conduct and develop analytical testing methods using a range of analytical techniques including HPLC and autotitration.• Execute experiments to develop new formulations and optimize existing products.• Develop and optimize analytical methodologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and sensitivity.• Collaborate on process development activities and support scale-up activities for manufacturing.• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.• Assist with regulatory and safety audits and ensure compliance with quality management systems.• Execution of analytical evaluations to written instructions.• Upkeep of housekeeping standards within the laboratoryThe Person: • Will hold a degree in a relevant Chemistry based subject (or similar)• HPLC experience in an accredited laboratory essential (GMP, UKAS, GLP type labs)• Experience in troubleshooting of HPLC instruments • The ideal candidate will have method development and/or validation experience but not essential • Strong interpersonal skillsImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
