Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Oldham

Job Summary: As an HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for managers, providing first-line advice and support on a range of HR enquiries. You will manage a professional caseload, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and practices. Your role will involve advising on various HR policies, supporting managers in hearings, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the HR/OD service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and timely HR advice to managers.
  • Manage and prioritise a professional caseload.
  • Advise on policies including attendance, grievance, capability, disciplinary, recruitment, and change management.
  • Log and record casework outcomes for service evaluation.
  • Support managers in preparing and presenting cases at hearings.
  • Attend strategy meetings to address safeguarding concerns.
  • Participate in job evaluation exercises.
  • Foster effective stakeholder relationships and promote HR services.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification or currently studying towards it.
