Leading northern manufacturer require a D365 Business Analyst to support their ERP transition from SAP to D365 Business Central across the Group. Working alongside a 3rd Party Consultancy you will be pivotal in supporting the transformation / migration / integration phases to BAU across multiple businesses in the north of the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to drive systems modernisation and enhance business reporting capabilities via Power BI for a Business Analyst with experience of D365 system implementation.

D365 Business Analyst - Role and Responsibilities - ERP, Dynamics, System Analyst, IT

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for day-to-day support of ERP and reporting systems across the Group - mainly D365 Business Central and Power BI, with integration into other manufacturing platforms
  • Support the design and implementation of new business systems and processes being rolled out across the Group
  • Provide training on processes and systems group wide
  • Monitor, report and enforce compliance with processes and controls linked to ERP and reporting systems
  • Own and enact a process of continuous improvement in use of IT systems
  • To provide business information to support decision-making at Group Level working with the Finance Director and IT functions
  • Work with local and Executive management teams to better capture, report and analyse business information, contributing to improved commercial, operational and financial performance
  • Will involve frequent travel to group sites to support

D365 Business Analyst - Key Skills and Experience - ERP, Dynamics, System Analyst, IT

  • Highly proficient in the use of Office 365 (including SharePoint administration)
  • Functional and technical knowledge of ERP - D365 Business Central (D365BC) or Dynamics NAV / Navision is highly desirable
  • Experience in data visualisation and reporting - preferably Power BI and Reporting Services or similar
  • Practical experience of designing and implementing processes and controls linked to IT systems
  • Can use relevant techniques to probe the data, check facts and gain a clear understanding of relevant issues
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
  • Able to convert analysis, evaluation and debate into action
  • Can seek ideas and information from different sources within and outside the organisation
  • Will evaluate data and alternative courses of action without bias or prejudice
