A great opportunity to join a Assistant Critical Path Manager position at a market-leading textile business in the Greater Manchester office. They design and produce textiles for the bedroom, living room, etc. They take sustainability seriously by sourcing responsible cotton and removing single-use plastic from the supply chain. They have a great reputation in the industry with a number of long-service employees.
Description
- Strong analytical skills and keen eye for detail
- Head up critical path by working and supporting all teams/departments
- Work closely with factories to understand capabilities, capacities, and production lead-times to ensure we are securing delivery times
- Identify and resolve production and supply problems
- Manage, train, and supervise teams
- Be quick-thinking and able to make sound decisions based on data
- Be aware that things can change quickly and deadlines need to be met
- Support Senior Management in creating plans and strategies
Profile
- Experience as an Import Merchandiser, Production Merchandiser, or similar
- Experience working with offshore factories
- Ability to analyze data and use it to drive action
- Pro-active & organized
- Flexible team player who doesn't mind 'mucking in' when needed
- Numerate with attention to detail & excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines to meet customer requirements
- Professional approach, with confidence to represent the company
