Warehouse / Admin Operative
Location: Oldham, Manchester
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Working any 5 days out of 7 days including weekends, on a weekly shift pattern based on a 40-hour week
Our client is a unique supplier of decorative home lighting in the UK, some of their customers include, B&Q, Homebase & other major retailers. The company is a forward thinker in the industry with promising plans for the future.
The Role
Administration:
- Set up daily work tasks for the warehouse team.
- Processing & printing of daily orders using customer portals and in-house system
- End of day supplier manifests
- Monitor for customer cancellations and action accordingly
- Liaise with the Sales & Merchandising Team
- Maintain KPI standards for the customers
Warehouse:
- Picking of customer orders
- Packing of customer orders
- Picking of bulk orders
- Organize the stock in line with departments needs
- Ensure team is replenishing picking stock from bulk stock
- Actions rework requests from merchandisers to meet customer needs
- Ensure team complete end of day housekeeping
Skills and Qualifications
- Able to work on own initiative as well as be an integral part of the team
- Effective communicator and able to develop good working relationships at all levels.
- Must have good IT skills, numerate and literate and able to work to deadlines.
- Able to provide a high standard of service and understand accuracy demands.
- Warehouse experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Candidates will possess a positive and customer focused attitude with a keen and enthusiastic approach.
