Position Details:

About the Role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students who are disengaged from their education. Your focus will be on building strong, positive relationships with these students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning, and encouraging their academic and personal development. The role also includes basic Teaching Assistant duties, working collaboratively with teachers to create a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with students who may be struggling to engage in their education.
  • Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to promote positive behavior and learning.
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere for all students.
