We are seeking a dedicated Housing Disrepair Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The Role:

As a pre-litigation paralegal in our Housing Disrepair Department, you will play a key role in all aspects of the claims process, from initial client contact to case resolution. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting legal documents, including letters of claim, witness statements, and court documents.
  • Conducting legal research and analysing cases.
  • Assisting solicitors with all aspects of housing disrepair claims.
  • Managing a caseload under supervision, ensuring compliance with deadlines and client expectations.
  • Liaising with clients, experts, and other parties involved in the claims process.
  • Attending court hearings and legal proceedings.
  • Maintaining accurate records and case management files.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a fee earner in Housing Disrepair claims or the claims industry.
  • Strong knowledge of housing disrepair law and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.

Salary:

Dependent on experience, circa £25,000.00.
