We are seeking a dedicated Housing Disrepair Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The Role:
As a pre-litigation paralegal in our Housing Disrepair Department, you will play a key role in all aspects of the claims process, from initial client contact to case resolution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting legal documents, including letters of claim, witness statements, and court documents.
- Conducting legal research and analysing cases.
- Assisting solicitors with all aspects of housing disrepair claims.
- Managing a caseload under supervision, ensuring compliance with deadlines and client expectations.
- Liaising with clients, experts, and other parties involved in the claims process.
- Attending court hearings and legal proceedings.
- Maintaining accurate records and case management files.
Requirements:
- Experience as a fee earner in Housing Disrepair claims or the claims industry.
- Strong knowledge of housing disrepair law and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
Salary:
Dependent on experience, circa £25,000.00.
