Medical Secretary

Band 4 13.57 per hour5 days a week, office based 37.5 hours per week. Temporary - Immediate Start up to 12 weeks

Supporting a busy medical team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative/secretarial service to the consultant and supporting the medical team.

Typical duties will include processing all enquiries from patients and following up with consultants; along with typing, formatting of clinic letters, reports and non clinical letters.

You will also be responsible for ensuring prescriptions are signed off for collection.

This is a diverse and busy role which would suit a candidate who is flexible, able to hit the ground running and equally, someone who will pitch in when required during peak times to support team members.

Experience of working in the NHS is essential to be considered for this role. Excellent IT skills are required as you will be providing general administrative support across the department and inputting key details into the internal system.
