About the Company

One of the North Wests leading flooring contractors was founded in 2020 by its Directors, who have been in the flooring industry themselves for over 25 years.

During that time they have been involved in some of the largest soft flooring commercial installations in the UK.

Now focussing on the residential market, the company has been going from strength to strength since its inception, and due to a very strong pipeline of work from their existing and new client base, they have an opportunity for a Senior PA to join the team to work alongside the MD in the head office in Manchester.

About the Role

Based at the Head Office, the Office Manager will take responsibility forthe management of a small office team, while working closely andreporting directly into the Managing Director,overseeing the smooth running of the office on a daily basis

You will work also closely with the Contracts Management team to ensure seamless delivery of projects, leading the office team and implementing the use of new systems, technology and software.

This is a busy hands on role and you will be supported with training and mentorship from the Directors for the first 3 - 6 Months.

Office Manager Key Responsibilities

Drive projects forward along agreed timelines by managing and mentoring the office staff and driving productivity.

Manage and oversee all aspects of planning, procurement and project management for projects.

Ensure all materials are accounted for prior to procurement and delivery to achieve start dates and milestones.

Oversee the running of projects to ensure flooring installers are aware of the specification and requirements of each project to help achieve a smooth and efficient handover.

Once projects are completed you will account for costs and invoice clients accordingly.

What You Need to Succeed

5 yrs experience in a Senior PA / Office Manager role in the Construction sector

A background in flooring would be beneficial but not essential.

Excellent man management and communication skills, and an ability to liaise with stakeholders and corporate clients.

Well organised and have the ability to deal with a high volume and varied workload.

The ability to manage and work well as part of a small and close knit team.
