Are you detail-oriented and curious about how products meet safety and legal standards? If you're just starting out in the world of compliance or have a couple of years under your belt, this could be the perfect next step for you.

We’re on the lookout for a Compliance Manager to help ensure our products follow UK regulations — from packaging and labelling to product testing and safety checks. You’ll be joining a friendly and fast-paced team where your input really matters, and there’s lots of room to grow.

About the Company:Our client is a well-known and fast-growing online retailer offering a wide range of quality products. With years of experience in the e-commerce space, they’re proud of their great value, strong customer service, and dedication to doing things the right way. As they continue to expand, they’re looking for someone passionate about product safety and compliance to join the team.

What You’ll Be Doing:You’ll get hands-on experience with a bit of everything — from keeping up with changing laws to making sure our packaging is on point. Some of your day-to-day tasks might include:

  • Checking that all products meet UK legal standards
  • Keeping an eye on new rules and making sure we’re up to date
  • Supporting with packaging, labelling, and testing processes
  • Helping assess new products for compliance and potential costs
  • Working with outside labs for testing and certifications
  • Keeping clear records and helping out with audits
  • Supporting product recalls and safety communications (don’t worry, you’ll be trained!)
  • Working with customer service to solve product issues and track spare parts
  • Helping develop and improve internal compliance procedures

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need to know everything, but some experience and a willingness to learn go a long way. Ideally, you have:

  • Around 1-3 years’ experience in compliance, product safety, or a related area
  • A good understanding of UK product safety rules (or a strong desire to learn)
  • Solid organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working independently and with different teams
  • Any certifications (like CCEP) are a bonus, but not required

Why Apply? This is a great opportunity to grow your career in compliance with a supportive team and a company that’s going places. You’ll be exposed to a variety of products and learn about the full compliance process — from idea to sale.
