Heavy Crane Engineer – Plant and Crawler - Oldham - Up to £45,000 About the Company     We are working with a Plant and Crawler Crane provider who is seeking a Heavy Crane Engineer with knowledge and experience of electrical and/or mechanical service work to join their expanding team in Oldham.As a Heavy Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for inspections, repairs, maintenance and modernisation of all mobile/crawler cranes, hoists and lifting equipment.   Heavy Crane Engineer – Plant and Crawler -  The Rewards

Heavy Crane Engineer – Plant and Crawler - Requirements
  • Must have experience in electrical, mechanical and/or electromechanical engineering.
  • Heavy industrial Plant mechanic experience is preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good interpersonal skills for customer relations.
  • The ability to work at heights responsibly
  • Mechanical experience of medium to large drive couplings, brakes and reduction gearboxes.
  • Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with Crawler Crane maintenance and inspection routines preferred.
  • Positive attitude towards health and safety.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to overcome technical challenges.
  • Willingness to work overtime as per business requirements. 
Heavy Crane Engineer – Plant and Crawler – Requirements
  • To undertake build, assembly, diagnostic, service, repair, recovery and technical work on Mobile and Crawler Crane products.
  • To investigate specific customer problems on a project by project basis, providing technical reports as may be requested from time to time
  • To assist in repairs and maintenance in the field away from the workshop as required from time to time.
  • In all activities to ensure that the Safety, Quality, Environmental, HR, Financial and all other operational policies of the company are adhered to and promoted and that company procedures, both operational and administrative are maintained.
