Description
- Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain teams to provide administration support
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
- Support negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive prices.
- Manage supplier performance and address any issues.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Assist in the development of purchasing strategies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Purchasing Assistant should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
Job Offer
- A salary range of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum.
