We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Oldham, working across Key Stage 2 (KS2) to support pupils and staff. This role is ideal for those looking to build their experience in a dynamic school setting.
Role Details:
- Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - suitable for ECTs/NQTs
- Location: Oldham
- Start Date: Monday, 24th February 2024 (after February half-term)
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year
- Responsibilities: Supporting teachers with PPA cover, assisting in classrooms across multiple KS2 year groups, and providing general teaching support where required
About You:
- Previous experience as a HLTA, Teaching Assistant, or a newly qualified teacher (ECT/NQT)
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different year groups
- A positive and proactive approach to working with pupils and staff
