Randstad is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Service to lead the strategic and operational development of integrated Learning Disability and Mental Health services at Oldham Council. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and transform services, ensure statutory compliance, and drive a high-performance culture in collaboration with health partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for integrated Learning Disability and Mental Health services.
  • Collaborate with health partners to co-develop and evaluate service plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation across services.
  • Lead a skilled workforce, ensuring effective deployment, training, and support.
  • Oversee significant budgets and influence financial planning for value-driven service delivery.
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead service transformation with consultation and engagement at its core.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and Mental Health Act.
  • Champion safeguarding and a strength-based approach to service delivery.
