We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Opportunity based within a busy Adult MASH team in the Oldham, Greater Manchester area. Working within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will be responsible for assessing and addressing the complex needs of individuals, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of vulnerable adults referred to the MASH, gathering relevant information and identifying potential risks and safeguarding concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including health care professionals.
  • Provide direct support to individuals, offering advice, guidance, and advocacy to promote their rights, independence, and overall well-being.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, maintaining case files and documentation in line with agency and legal requirements.

To be considered for the Social Worker role:

  • 1-3 years experience of working within a similar setting would be desirable but not essential, would consider experience in other adult teams
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • BSc in Social Work or equivalent .
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding
  • Experience of multi agency working, information gathering/sharing
