Randstad is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Oldham Council's Assessment and Intervention Team. This full-time role offers an attractive pay rate of £39 per hour.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide effective services to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at various stages of their journey
Have strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Children's social care legislation, regulations, and guidance
Manage duty and complex caseloads
Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver effective planning for children and families
Represent the Council at meetings, proceedings, and reviews as required
Take referrals from MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub)
Complete assessments and Child in Need interventions

Requirements:

Social Work Degree or equivalent
Social Work England registration
Enhanced DBS
Experience working with children
