Learning Support Assistant

Empowering Learning are working with a dynamic and expanding SEMH school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. The school have pupils ranging from 4-19 years of age. All pupils at the provision have moderate or severe learning difficulties and social communication difficulties. Some have autism, ADHD, or other complex needs.

Empowering Learning are seeking to employ, a learning support assistant for MLD/SLD/SEN pupils. The learning support assistant will be working with KS3 and KS4 pupils who are working at a primary level (academically aged 5-11).

The school takes a person-centred approach to each pupil's learning to maximise their independence and aspirations. Applicants who have SEN experience are welcome and additional support and training will be provided for outstanding candidates wishing to further their specialist knowledge and understanding.

The school emphasise a flexible and positive attitude towards ensuring pupils get the best opportunities in their education.
