ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist high school in Oldham, Greater Manchester who are looking for a Qualified SEN Teacher to join their team delivering a tailored curriculum to students aged 11-14 with significant learning difficulties and autism.

The team are looking for someone to join them that can evident previous experience in a similar setting and that are strong and confident delivering to a SEN curriculum.

The school are looking for someone who is confident, dedicated and excels in behaviour management.

The role will consist of:

  • Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs)
  • Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn and succeed
  • Academic support of a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assisting the teacher

The Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS
  • Knowledge and experience teaching KS3 mainstream curriculum
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis

  • Contract Type - Temporary (with possible permanent opportunities)
