Warehouse & Supply Chain ManagerOldham£40,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Our client is looking for a pro-active and experienced Warehouse & Supply Chain Manager to be a part of their ambitious growth plans. You'll be joining a great team which are looking to future-proof their business through an exciting period of transformation. With a circa 70% bias towards Warehouse, you'll manage a small team and be responsible for ensuring day to day KPI's are achieved. As part of the Supply Chain aspects you'll be responsible for supplier management and resolving any supply chain bottlenecks.

What does the role entail?

  • Overseeing the daily picking, packing, and transportation of distribution orders.
  • Ensuring orders meet delivery schedules in both quantity and quality.
  • Supplier management - build relationships with suppliers and improve performance through scorecards, regular communication, reviews etc
  • Maintaining accurate stock records using Sage 200.
  • Keep the warehouse organised and compliant with Health and Safety standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.
  • Maintain clear communication with production departments and the sales office.

What do I need?

  • Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.
