An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager with 2-3 years of managerial experience to join a prominent distributor and supplier of plastic products. This role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee daily health and safety practices while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.

You will be responsible for:

  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily activities to foster a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Manage stock levels, including control and rotation of inventory.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the company fleet, including lorries, forklifts, and cars.
  • Provide clear briefings and debriefings to drivers regarding deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations.
  • Efficiently manage fuel consumption and operational costs, optimising drivers’ hours through effective problem-solving.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as an Operations Manager, Operations Lead, Commercial Manager, General Manager or in a similar role.
  • Possess 2-3 years of managerial experience.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
