Your new companyHays Education are currently working with a couple of great primary schools in the Ormskirk and Burscough area who are looking for Teaching Assistants to start from October. These schools are a mixture of 'Outstanding' and 'Good', rated by Ofsted. These are vibrant, inclusive schools at the heart of the community, committed to providing a safe, happy and secure environment for our children.Your new roleIn this job role as Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers across either KS1 or KS2 and be expected to provide additional support. You will be helping the teachers to monitor progress and focus on phonics, maths, reading and writing. The role is to support children in their learning and behavioural needs, and you will play a massive role in their development and educational success. You should possess good communication skills and be able to build up relationships quickly with both pupils and staff. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. SEN experience would also be desirable in this role, but it is not essential as it will depend on the school you are placed in.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be paid a highly competitive daily rate and will be working in this successful school where you will become an integral part of a welcoming team of TA's.
