Resourcery Group are working with a brilliant business based near Ormskirk as they look to hire a new Finance Manager. Our client has an excellent reputation and has grown significantly in recent years. They are now looking to bring in a Finance Manager to work closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership group as they continue to grow.

The Finance Manager will work closely with the FD and senior leadership group to drive the performance of the business in this value adding role. The role will involved both managing the day to day finance of the business but also leading on projects and driving change across the business. 

Our client is well known as an excellent place to work and have a brilliant reputation. They have a modern office near Ormskirk and also have hybrid working. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions
  • Working as part of a small finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment through effective coaching and guidance.
  • Prepare month end management accounts and the full month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures. Drive improvements in P&L analysis, leading the implementation of enhanced commercial reporting methods that result in more insightful and actionable financial insights.
  • Examine financial data to provide actionable insights, empowering the senior leadership team with decision making.
  • Support the FD with on-going finance projects and system improvements.

Key Requirements

  • Fully qualified - CIMA, ACCA, ACA
  • Strong analytical skills, able to analyse financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Driven to develop a deep understanding of the business's commercial operations, pricing strategies, and revenue drivers to maximise profitability.
