Grafton Banks Finance is working with a large PE backed group to recruit a newly created Finance Business Partner role.
Working in a £300m turnover business unit you will be responsible for providing financial leadership & support to the Directors & wider team to drive sustainable and profitable performance of the business and its contracts.
We are looking for a qualified accountant and an experienced finance business partner who has worked in the construction industry or similar (project/ contract-based businesses).
The role will be based in our clients’ offices near Orpington with a hybrid working model. Salary for this role is up to £70,000 + benefits including private healthcare, 25 days holiday, and pension.
Key tasks:
- Working with the Finance Director in provision of divisional month end reporting packs in line with Group requirements.
- Bi-weekly cashflow forecasts.
- Key bridge between Finance and Commercial Teams to assist project team in production & review of monthly cost valuation reporting, processing monthly contract accounting, labour allocations and staff utilisation, and ensuring costing accuracy.
- Budgeting and re-forecasting.
- Balance Sheet Management.
- Key involvement in introduction of new ERP / IT systems.
To be successful in this role you’ll need to possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skills and will be confident driving process and control improvements in a growing business.
