My client (B2B retail) is seeking a Marketing Manager with a design background to lead their brand marketing function! This role is perfect for a visionary leader who excels in both strategic and hands-on aspects of marketing. As a Marketing Manager, you will drive the brand forward through innovative thought-leadership content, hands-on web design and development, and comprehensive management of our marketing initiatives.

Day-to-Day of the Marketing Manager Role:

  • Content Creation & Management: Produce and manage a wide range of content including written articles, videos, and public speaking engagements to establish thought leadership.
  • Web Design & SEO: Hands-on development and maintenance of websites using HTML and WordPress, ensuring optimal SEO practices and engaging web content.
  • Branding & Creative Direction: Oversee all aspects of branding, design, photography, and video styling to enhance brand visibility and coherence.
  • Social Media & Email Marketing: Manage social media platforms and email marketing campaigns, utilising platforms like Mailchimp to engage with the audience effectively.
  • Press & Public Relations: Create and distribute press releases, enhancing brand presence in various media outlets.
  • Sales & Marketing Integration: Develop in-depth sales presentations and manage all copywriting tasks, aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives.
  • Data Management & Analytics: Utilize tools like Pipedrive for effective data and lead management, analysing marketing outcomes to drive decisions.
  • Product & Event Management: Lead the launch of new products, websites, and brochures, and manage all aspects of event planning and execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Marketing Manager role:

  • Proven Experience: Extensive experience in B2B marketing, particularly within the retail sector, with a track record of successful project management and team leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, WordPress, SEO, Mailchimp, and Pipedrive.
  • Creative and Analytical Abilities: Strong capability in branding, creative direction, and market research.
  • Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams including telemarketers, photographers, videographers, and external agencies.
  • Communication: Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, capable of serving as a company spokesperson.
