Our client who specialises in providing sustainable and energy-efficient solutions for both residential and commercial clients, is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. In this role you will oversee the planning,execution and delivery of solar PV installation projects and manage the workload of a small team of Solar PV installers. Responsibilities:
- Create project plans with timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to define project goals
- Conduct site evaluations and work with design teams on system layouts
- Ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits
- Oversee installations, manage teams, and maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor project progress, provide updates, and assess risks
- Manage the workload of a small team of Solar PV installers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing any concerns
- Manage project handover, maintenance, and performance monitoring
Skills and experience required:
- 2+ years of project coordination experience within construction industry or solar energy
- Understanding of solar PV systems and/or renewable energy technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills
- Solar PV Installer Certification is a plus
