A Construction Consultancy are seeking a Principal Designer who is looking to take on more responsibility. They will ideally be looking to step up from an Assistant PD / CDM Consultant role and want to take the next step in their career. This will allow for you to enjoy working on your own portfolio with the support of a CDM / H&S advisor and an Architectural department to support. The consultancy pride themselves on employee satisfaction and have a fun social office, which you will work from 2-3 days per week.
The CDM Consultant Role
As a Principal Designer, you will play confidently lead meetings, manage all design safety risk for the portfolio you manage. There will be a team of CDM Advisors & Architects to support your work. This is a client facing role focused on technical delivery and client satisfaction.
The Successful CDM Consultant Will Have:
- Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction (required), Tech IOSH (minimum), APS membership (preferred).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a CDM role.
- Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
