Field Manager - Insulation Measures (ECO4 Framework)

About the Role As the Operations Manager for Insulation Measures within the ECO4 framework, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our insulation measures program, ensuring alignment with the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, youll manage and expand a network of installation teams, mainly subcontractors, with direct labor installers being integral to our growth strategy. Your focus will be on upholding high standards of quality through rigorous monitoring, auditing, and performance management of these teams.

Our primary installations include Loft, Room-in-Roof, and Cavity Wall insulation, with more specialized work (like Internal Wall Insulation, External Wall Insulation, and Flat Roof Insulation) contracted to expert firms as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Were looking for someone with hands-on experience in the ECO industry, especially in managing insulation teams. A background in service delivery, resource planning, and staff development is a plus. Strong communication skills, a confident presence, and a collaborative leadership style will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Seamlessly coordinate project handovers from our internal retrofit team.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, building, and licensing regulations.
  • Verify that installers have completed all necessary project documentation.
  • Oversee daily management and coordination of Installation teams, including site assessments, material measurements, and ordering.
  • Track and enhance subcontractor performance through KPI monitoring and regular meetings.
  • Ensure materials are distributed efficiently to designated sites.
  • Prepare and present weekly reports to the Head of Operations, including site audit summaries, room availability, and progress updates.
  • Implement strong quality control measures to monitor contractor performance and workmanship.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and program requirements.
  • Proactively identify, recruit, and cultivate a robust network of contractors for the insulation measures program.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in Operations or Project Management within the ECO industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of building fabric, insulation, and ventilation systems.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google platforms.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness, including financial and contract management expertise.
  • A talent for building strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
