Experienced litigation team leader sought for a permanent role at a Bromley based law firm with links to the insurance industry specialising in dealing with matters arising from RTA claims. This is a full-time role with the opportunity for hybrid working following a settling in period as well as training and support to provide career progression. 聽 Role involves: 路Manage a mixed caseload including but not limited to liability disputes, repair, credit hire 聽small claims cases. 路Effective management of the litigation process to ensure SLA's are met. 路Work a task list effectively. 路Negotiation of quantum & assessing liability. 路Drafting Court documents. 路Liaise with client's regarding uninsured losses and to obtain relevant case information in a competent manner. 路Adhering to all court deadlines. 路Take and Draft comprehensive statements. 路Book and instruct Counsel to attend trial. 路Allocate settlement funds. 路Complete appropriate file closure processes 路Act as a Team Leader for the Litigation Team to assist the team with day-to-day queries and training needs 路Assist with training of new staff including preparing training material where necessary 路Conduct training presentations as and when required 路Assist with mentoring and carrying out 1-2-1 meetings with the team, as well as hold team meetings 路Undertake file reviews, supervision and sign off on Court documents for junior members of the team. 路Assist and support the Team manager as and when required 聽 Required experience/qualifications 路At least 2 years similar litigation/case handler experience in a law firm or the insurance industry 路Experience in leading and providing support for a team or similar management experience 路Full knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules relating to RTA/Motor Insurance Claims 路Credit hire experience desirable but not essential 路Excellent written and oral communication skills 路High degree of motivation and attention to detail 路Demonstrable ability to work as a team 路Ability to work calmly under pressure in an organised and efficient manner, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise 聽 Benefits: 路Hybrid working (after successful completion of training and your probationary period) 路Buy and sell Holiday 路Training and development to support career progression 路Access to our reward hub which includes retail discounts and health & well being 路Paid volunteer time to support our chosen charity 路Additional day off for your birthday 聽 This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a firm that place their clients at the heart of what they do whether working with large corporate clients or individuals.
