Warehouse Manager (IT Assets)

Our client based in Orpington Kent is looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day management their IT Assets

IT related experience is important .Although the role is not technical, you will be managing technical teams of IT build engineers who build and decommission the IT Kit (PC’s Laptops, Tablets ,Servers) ready for delivery/pickup to multiple client sites around the UK and will have to liaise with the Internal IT over infrastructure that supports this service and the warehouse facilities, so you need to be tech savvy and preferably from IT warehousing background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the warehouse is always organised and in the best possible state
  • Ensure controls are in place every day to efficiently manage goods in/out
  • Ensure stock management delivers 100% report accuracy
  • Ensure disposals are all up to date so warehouse space is maximised
  • Create and monitor daily KPI’s reports for C-Level and Finance stakeholders to control Lifecycle productivity and costs
  • Ensure the engineering and service desk teams are fully productive and effective Stakeholder support to SDM’s and Account Managers
  • Ensure all documentation and processes are in line with ISO standards
  • Oversee Health & Safety of all staff.
  • Manage the staff and building/facilities day to day (Team Leaders will be in place to support that)
