Senior Production Planner - Ossett – £45,000-£55,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with leading food manufacturer in Ossett who are looking to recruit an Interim Senior Production Planner to support their business on a 6 - month temporary contract.
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Planners and coordinating the production workflow for multiple products. You will be accountable for planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance is achieved at the right cost.
Senior Production Planner Duties:
- Develop deliverable plans for the 4 key manufacturing processes at multiple levels of aggregation, for multiple time horizons, as part of a planning function
- Oversee the overall planning function
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine plans
- Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with operations
- Support the day-today planning function during holidays, sickness and training
- Work closely with both the inventory and warehouse teams to ensure the whole supply chain is optimised
- Facilitate and manage planning/customer meetings to achieve coherence within the supply chain
Hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday (1 hour lunch)

Required skills & experience:
- 3+ years previous experience of working within an FMCG environment (food experience highly desirable)
- Have a proven track record of supply chain, demand planning and customer collaboration
- Previous experience of working with multiple SKU’s as well as a hands-on approach to work
- Possess strong analytical skills, as well as a sound and comprehensive knowledge of IT packages.
