Learning Support Assistant required:

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be responsible for supporting pupils with complex SEMH and SEN needs, covering a variety of needs from Communication and interaction difficulties, cognitive and learning problems along with social, emotional, mental emotional health including those with sensory and/or physical needs - ensuring they receive the best experience of education and reach their full potential.

You will be working with a team of dedicated professionals to provide tailored and specific support for young people who have additional requirements in either Academic or Communicative development.

Job information:

• Full time Monday - Friday

• Paid up to £90 per day!

• Supporting SEN Teachers and other professional staff to deliver high quality and creative educational and personal development sessions

• 1-1 small group and individual sessions

• Creating interactive and academically enriched learning experience

• Able to provide academic support to pupils as well as pastoral care

Person Specification:

• 1 year experience working to support people with SEN or other complex difficulties.

• The ideal candidates will have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient- this role can be extremely challenging but also very rewarding.

• The ability to take note of, and acting on, all issues relating to the well being and safeguarding of children.

• Prescient behaviour management skills.

• Profound ambition to contribute towards positive change in a child’s development.

• Willing to undertake training days.
