About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICA (Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) Project Engineer to join our team for an exciting and challenging project. The successful candidate will work on a large-scale clean Water Treatment Works (WTW) based in Oswestry. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a significant infrastructure project, contributing to the enhancement of water treatment processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage ICA engineering activities for the WTW project, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
·Oversee the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
·Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers.
·Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
·Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality of work.
·Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
·Prepare and review project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and drawings.
·Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
·Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
·Proven experience working on water or wastewater treatment projects is essential.
·Strong background in ICA engineering, with relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field).
·Demonstrable expertise in designing, developing, and implementing instrumentation, control, and automation systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
·Comprehensive understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to ICA engineering in the water sector.
·Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
·Proficient in using relevant engineering software and tools.
·Working knowledge of various conditions of NEC contracts
