Our client, a Top 50 Accountancy Practice is seeking an Audit and Accounts Junior/ Assistant to join their finance team in their offices in Oxford.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training and formal qualifications.
  • Preparing audit working papers.
  • Attending clients stocktakes and reporting findings.
  • Assisting more senior members of staff
  • Preparing notes to summarise your findings and recommendations.
  • Posting the audit clients' trial balances into statutory accounts format and updating disclosures as necessary.
  • Producing financial accounts in accordance with FRS 102 1A and FRS 105 as well as sole trader and partnership accounts.
  • Using accounting software to provide accurate reporting
  • Preparing basic corporation tax computations

About you:

  • You will have at least 1 years' UK audit and/or accounts practice experience and you will have strong aptitude for IT, specifically excel.
  • You will have been educated to A-level or higher.
  • You will have exceptional attention to detail and you will have a willingness to understand and success in a range of professional studies.
