We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a leading accountancy firm based in Oxford. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor to manage a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, from SMEs to larger companies. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality audits from start to finish while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their leadership skills in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their business needs and tailor audit procedures accordingly.
  • Supervise, train, and support junior auditors to develop their technical expertise.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, including FRS 102 and IFRS.
  • Assist with business development by identifying potential new clients.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or close to completion).
  • Experience leading audits within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and audit standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
