Finance Officer

Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are working with a modern education sector in Oxford who are seeking a Finance Officer on a temporary to Fixed Term Contract basis. This is a brilliant oppurtunity to join a collaborative, friendly team who offer 2 days in the office hybrid, an hourly rate if up to £13.94per hour and plenty of oppurtunity to develop!

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Aid in the preparation, monitoring, reconciliation, and review of budgets
2. Provide regular forecasting information to the manager and budget holders as directed.
3. Process orders, invoices, and one-off payments.
4. Monitor the ‘Invoices on Hold’ report and address related issues to ensure timely invoice payments.
5. Process various payroll claim forms within specified deadlines.
6. Raise sales invoices.

Qualifications Required

• Ideally pursuing AAT qualification.
• Strong Maths & English skills, both written and spoken.

Experience Required

• Experience in a similar role within a large, complex organisation.
• Proficiency in using sophisticated computerised financial accounting systems.
• Ideally, experience with MS Excel & Word.
