?????Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are partnering with a prestige central Oxford based client who are seeking a Grants Officer on a temporary to permanent basis. They are looking to get someone to join the team asap! This role is paying an hourly rate of up to £19.59 and offers hybrid working once sufficient training has been carried out.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Research Admin Team to ensure correct project setup by reviewing grant offer letters or contracts.
- Discuss procurement and recruitment plans with PIs to develop relevant expenditure forecasts.
- Ensure all appropriate expenditure is charged and budgets are effectively utilised.
- Assess and manage residual balances at the end of projects.
- Periodically check and chase overdue invoices from collaborators.
- Work closely with PIs, project managers, and admin staff to ensure compliance with funder and University regulations.
- Provide PIs with regular financial reports and support to manage their funds effectively.
- Coordinate quarterly reports and forecasts
