?????Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are partnering with a prestige central Oxford based client who are seeking a Grants Officer on a temporary to permanent basis. They are looking to get someone to join the team asap! This role is paying an hourly rate of up to £19.59 and offers hybrid working once sufficient training has been carried out.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Research Admin Team to ensure correct project setup by reviewing grant offer letters or contracts.
  • Discuss procurement and recruitment plans with PIs to develop relevant expenditure forecasts.
  • Ensure all appropriate expenditure is charged and budgets are effectively utilised.
  • Assess and manage residual balances at the end of projects.
  • Periodically check and chase overdue invoices from collaborators.
  • Work closely with PIs, project managers, and admin staff to ensure compliance with funder and University regulations.
  • Provide PIs with regular financial reports and support to manage their funds effectively.
  • Coordinate quarterly reports and forecasts
