Description
- Oversee all company accounts and investments.
- Create monthly and annual reports to identify financial performance and forecast.
- Monitor the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
- Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Relevant academic qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in a financial management role within the energy and natural resources sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
- Proficiency in using financial software and creating financial reports.
- Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact at all levels of the organisation.
