About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join a prestigious educational institution. As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while supporting key projects and processes.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Supporting endowment administration and liaising with external financial service providers.
  • Overseeing project accounting for development and capital expenditure activities.
  • Assisting with taxation, including VAT and Corporation Tax.
  • Reviewing and improving financial processes, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Acting as a backup for the Financial Controller when needed.
About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be fully or part-qualified in accountancy, with a minimum of three years of professional experience. You will have excellent analytical and reporting skills, a proactive mindset, and familiarity with modern accounting systems. Experience in the education or charitable sector and exposure to complex VAT environments are highly desirable.
