Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are supporting a leading real estate and property management company committed to excellence. They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join their finance team on a 8-9 month Fixed Term Contract basis. This role is paying a salary of up to £35,000per annum. If you have a passion for numbers, strong analytical skills, and experience in property accounting, you may be the perfect fit for this role!

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Bank Reconciliations - Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage multiple bank accounts efficiently.
  • Rent and Service Charge Invoicing - Raise quarterly and monthly rent and service charge invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Ad Hoc Invoices and Recharges - Handle recharges and other ad hoc invoices as needed.
  • Service Charge Management - Maintain service charge management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Journal Entries and Accruals - Post service charge journals and accruals.
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliation - Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
  • Payment Runs - Prepare and post payment runs for authorisation.
  • Credit Control Escalations - Assist with credit control escalations as necessary and produce bad debt reports.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience - AAT or other relevant professional qualification.
  • Real Estate/Property Management Experience - Previous experience in the real estate or property management industry is advantageous.
  • Excel Proficiency - Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP Knowledge - Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP is beneficial but not essential.
