Description

  • Deliver a Commercial Business Partnering service to Central Overhead departments and Central Property which incorporates proactive review and analysis of the functions, facilitates operational decision making and drives efficiency's and performance improvement

* Build and maintain influential and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including Heads of Departments and Project Managers

* Develop and manage the preparation of monthly management information in a timely manner ensuring reports are robust and accurately reflect current performance

* Deliver meaningful and insightful commentary which supports the monthly reporting and reflects key business issues

* Work with Central Overhead and Property teams to produce realistic but challenging budgets and forecasts as and when required by the Trust

* Ensure budget holders and project managers receive a Business Partnering service that enables them to understand the financial impact of project delays on project budgets and forecasts and subsequent cashflow impacts

* Provide objective challenge regarding spending plans and take a proactive role in looking for opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively

* Responsible for supporting monthly accounting and forecasting of the Apprenticeship Levy working closely with the Leadership and Development team to maximise use of the fund within budget limitations

Profile

* Educated to Degree Level;

* Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)

* Experience of working in the care or 'not for profit' sector

* Experience of working for a multi-site organisation

Experience working with Central Overhead and Property teams as a Business Partner is essential.
