Role Overview

As an Associate Architect, you will contribute to the design and execution of projects, ensuring that architectural integrity and client satisfaction are at the forefront. You will collaborate closely with the design team, project managers, and clients to create spaces that inspire and perform.

You will specialise in the application of building science and technology on architectural, interiors and construction projects and be recognised as having specialist skills that enable you to manage the design process and to use your technical knowledge & expertise to provide innovative and aesthetically pleasing solutions. As a Qualified and ARB Chartered Architect, you will be continually working to further enhance your knowledge in the application of design, building science and technology on architectural and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop creative design concepts and prepare detailed architectural plans.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and translate them into feasible designs.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to designs and standards.
  • Produce high-quality presentations, including 3D renderings, sketches, and detailed drawings.
  • Stay updated with architectural trends, building codes, and sustainability practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture RIBA part III.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design and project delivery post ARB qualified.
  • Proficiency in design software AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and building regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design expertise and completed projects.

You will be pro-active in the development of new business opportunities, working closely with the Architectural Team, Group Director of Architecture, Group Managing Director, other members of the Design Leadership Team, other Group Managers and the Business Development Team to prospect for new clients.
